Compilers not working

Hi, I have recently been running windows applications on both the Bloodshed DevC++ compiler and Visual C++ 2005 Express edition without any difficulty. I have recently been using OpenGL in college. By applying what I thought were the same steps to use OpenGL on my laptop, I have seemingly rendered my compilers useless. After adding in the necessary opengl files: -lopengl32 -lglu32 -lglaux under the linker section in Bloodshed, my project files will not compile properly anymore, even in VC++. The error message is not very helpful, but it appears to be the same problem in both compilers. It seems to compile to a point and then stop saying that it cannot access a certain makefile, something like "make50522" because that file is already in use, in Bloodshed and in VC++ it fails when it tries to execute system32/cmd.exe I can no longer even compile simple code that was working before. I would not know enough really to spot a problem in the project options/settings section. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Any help would be much appreciated. Even if you could direct me to an faq page that could hep, as I haven't found one yet. Thanks.

Cross post. One thread only please - since this is a compilation problem rather than something OGL specific I'll leave the other one open.
