i have to interpolate the normal on interesection point of a triangle. i got points of the triangle p0,p1,p2 and corresponding normals n0,n1,n2 and the point on the triangle p and the corresponding normal n unfortunately i don't have the Barycentric Coordinates of this points (i could calculate them but for performance reasons another solution is appreciated) what ideas do you have? thanks+

Conversion to barycentrics is almost computationally trivial and any other method would be doing exactly the same thing in disguise. I suggest you go ahead and make the conversion. I'll give you £10 for each millisecond this adds to your frame rendering time [wink].
