Hi. I am doing a research in software engineer about code reuse. I wanna have information about the library approach, like how to reuse game engine libraries, and what are the criteria for reuse, the problems of creating reusable code, reducing redundancy,......... If anyone can provide me with useful information or link, please do. Thanks.

Quick reference:

Take a look at component based software development. One of the major goals in CBSD is reuse of existing implementations. Here's some links:

Start here (although Wikipedia's title for CBSD is stupid IMHO).
This is an interesting faq.
This is a little long but an interesting read.
This is probably the definitive text on the subject.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your research.

I do not know how broad your research is or if you only want to focus on game engines and the "library approach", but apparently "Working Effectively with Legacy Code" by Michael Feathers is a good book about how to deal with code that is hard to reuse. The book is still on my bookshelf at home and I still need to read it, but I hear nothing but good stuff about it.
