Building design software

I was just thinking that it would be great if their was a program that I could use to create buildings for my games that worked like 3d architectural programs where you simply tell it where to put walls and it kind of puts everything together for you. I am talking about programs similar to this http://www.3dhaonline.com/home_landscape_suite.htm. If their were such a program it would make things a lot simpler. I believe that the programs that do exist do not allow exporting to a format usable in games they are mainly for making blue prints and seeing how a building will look once finished. If their is not such a program can someone recommend a simple modeling program good for this purpose. To me most 3d modeling software seems like overkill for simple structures such as buildings. Thanks
Have you tried Sketchup Pro?
Back at argonaut, the game designers were using it to rough out levels. It's dead easy to use and i seem to remember it's really cheap too.

Are you talking about a thing like Autodesk CAD or like game modeling? For game modeling, I'd say still the best (not the easiest) is 3ds max.
Have you ever used a level editor such as Hammer or UnrealEd before?
