I'll give you an actual response, Scott.

I agree with some points and disagree on others. I agree that their response to the situation was sloppy and irresponsible, and that anyone developing an MMO really should be much more careful about security.

However, it seems clear that you're more interested in having a field day with your exploits and destroying the game environment, rather than helping the developers out.

A more white-hat suggestion I'll make (that I hope you'll consider) is, when you find yourself in a similar situation (having just discovered an exploit), rather than abusing it, tell a GM and even demonstrate the exploit for them. If they notify the developer, who can reproduce it, then they can fix it.

Who knows, you may even get a lot of respect from the developers that way, as well as from within the community. I think you might dig getting some positive community respect just as much as you do community hate.

Just my 2 cents.
