What was the worse, creepiest, most insidious bug you ever slained out of a game ?

One that comes to mind: I had a bug in an early version of my RPG where my characters'' growth rates (which determine how the characters advance as the game progresses) would suddenly all drop to zero. So when it happened, from that point on, the characters would be locked at their present status until the end of the game. The really hard part about it was that the bug was nearly impossible to recreate. I never saw it happen in under an hour of uninterrupted testing, and it never happened in the same place twice. Even the one time I actually saw the figures change since I was displaying them onscreen at all times, I still couldn''t find what was causing it. I ended up just removing every line of code that dealt with those variables, and rewriting that part of the program in a different way. It has never come up again, nor has anything similar arisen, and I still can''t think of any reason why it would have happened in the first place.

I think flies are the uglies most discusting critters on the planet. I find it hard to think of anything more grotess. They eat shit then they want to sit on your face and vomit on you. They are filth!
