I''m working on a Pacman-clone on Java.
I have a main-class that loads the sprite-images by using a mediatracker.
Then the references of the images are sent to the sprite-classes (Pacman,Ghost). These Sprite-Classes sends the same image-references to a Tile-Class. This class crops the individual sprites and puts them into a Hashtable.
Even though I''ve used a mediatracker in the main-class to retrieve these images, I have to use a mediatracker in the Tile-class after the cropping-process. Or else the sprites arent fully loaded, and the applet begins to load the images while playing the game. I have no choice than to use a mediatracker both in the main- and the Tile-class.
Weird??
