Does anyone know of any repository of the class names (or general info that includes the class name) for browser windows? I am working on code to detect if a browser is currently open, doing so by looking over all open windows and checking for certain classes. I know that IE(32) uses IEFrame for the window class name, and FireFox uses MozillaUIWindowClass, but what about others (Opera, Safari, etc)? The main problem I'm currently seeing is that IE64 doesn't seem to use IEFrame, but I don't have a 64 bit system (I've only been told that it doesn't properly detect the open IE64 window), but I'd also like to detect other browsers, as well.

Why not go by executable name? Every version of IE that I know of is "iexplorer.exe", Firefox is "firefox.exe", etc. Class name is way too much of an implementation detail.
