Hi Chris,
This .bsp importing is very sweet : ) the maps look excellent and getting everything to work is a breeze. Only problem im having is this super low fps. im getting an awesome 120 fph! (thats right, frames per hour) hehe 2 fpm just isnt good enough. for refreshers im using a voodoo 5 (with good drivers) on an amd athlon 1.1ghz with PR4 b5. i know my cpu can handle this stuff (i run quake3 in 1600x1200 at @25-30 fps). just viewing the maps should be a breeze : ) if i need to have a geforce 3 to get good refresh rates, something is seriously wrong. i thought this stuff was supposed to be fixed (slowness) on this release. what do you think chris?

If the camera is inside part of the level it should be very fast because it uses the PVS data to cull out most of the level quickly.
However if the camera is outside, it draws everything since the visibility can''t be determined. This will cause problems if you''re placing a big BSP object on a terrain and view it from a distance. I have an idea of how to get around this but have not implemented it yet.
If it''s slow and you''re just viewing BSP models from inside then there is a legitimate problem.
