Hey everyone, I thought it would be a fun experiment for people to reply with the shows you grew up with as a kid, relate and share memories, etc. For me, I grew up in the 90's watching Nick classics such as Salute your Shorts, All That, Legends of the Hidden Temple (Omec!), and Are you Afraid of the Dark?. These shows really had good grasp on how to entertain unlike many shows that are on now for kids. Also, I came across this the other day and thought I'd share it with those of you who are curious as to what ever happened to those young actors and actresses that we no longer see. LINK......... I've never heard of the shows you mentioned. My television habits as a child consisted of shows like:

You can't do that on television.

Knight Rider

Punky Brewster

Battle of the planets (was it also known as G-Force?)

Ulysses (sci fi version cartoon?)

Under the Mountain (great NZ kids series - very scary as a kid)

Inspector Gadget

That also was a Nickelodeon classic but went off the air the year I was born. I've heard it was a great hit.

I can remember most of those shows too, although Battle of the planets and Under the Mountain draw a blank (I might just not recognise the titles). I also liked The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Plus I was a real fan of game shows back as a kid, such as the Price is Right.

Oh gosh, where do I begin... I was very diverse in my TV shows.

Transformers
GI Joe
All That
Full House
227
Goodtimes
Cosby Show
Family Feud
Price is Right
Love Connection
Cheers
Quantum Leap
Married with Children
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Home Improvement
Star Trek
Duck Tales
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Garfield and Friends

I could easily triple this list. I was a TV nut between the ages of 5 and 17 or 18. Then I got married and couldn't afford cable, much less the internet, so TV was a thing of the past.

As far as TMNT goes, I watched that obsessively - and I mean obsessively. My mom still remembers the theme song, and it's been at least 16-17 years. [smile]

I watched just about everything on Nickelodeon and the following other shows.
">Mighty Max
-- Great, nearly forgotten show. It was pretty weird in the last episode when they reversed time, causing the show to go in an infinite loop.

">Bucky O Hare
I was OBSESSED with this show as kid, but I remember practically nothing about it now.

">Highlander
It was a cool show

">DragonBall
I was one of the few who watched the "Lost Dub" on Fox Kids. Then, years later, when Dragonball Z was popular, NOBODY believed me about this show.

">Sailor Moon
My Dad used to tease me about watching it, but he watches crap like What Not to Wear and Celtic Woman. That's a 100x gayer than Sailor Moon.

">Power Rangers and every rip off of it. Hey, when you're elementary school, its the coolest show in the world.

">Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
Loved it when I was a kid, but in retrospect, it was kind of stupid.

">Pink Panther
I was obsessed with the old Pink Panther shorts. I even liked the one where he talked. I remember how Son of the Pink Panther trailers would confuse the hell out of me.
