Hi Everyone, Just curious if any of you have checked out the VCogs OGP, currently being developed. It is based on the Freescale i.MX21 platform, along with a PSP LCD with touchscreen overlay, 2 joysticks and lots of buttons. Im not connected to these guys at all, just an interested developer hoping to get some other people interested. The current platform can support numerous expansion board with GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, camera and loads of other possibilities, and future platforms will be interchangeable. So check it out and see what you think... http://wiki.virtualcogs.com/tiki-view_blog.php?blogId=1

Yeh they aren't really cheap, but if you consider that they are more powerful than your average cell phone with capability of BEING a cell phone and much more, it isn't so unreasonable.

Unfortunately the components themselves aren't all that cheap and when you add design and manufacturing and combine it with a relatively low number of boards to test the waters, the price adds up.
