How can that be?

When you create a an EXE project under file it doesn''t say make Project1.EXE?

and...are there any females here??? well in general, IT people are male...there are 2 females among 150 men where I''m currently at which is 2 more then my last site. one is the receptionist and one is tech.

It''s one of the freeware ones... I don''t think they allow you to make exes for a reason.... Pay them for a proper version

I got it from the back of this damn book, so i did pay for it.

Does it say "Educational edition" or something? Or "Visual Basic Primer". I have the primer... and it will never make an exe

If you got it out of the back of a book it is almost certainly an introductory (read: crippled) version of the compiler. If programming books came with the full versions of VC++ or VB, they''d be a hell of a lot more expensive from all those licensing fees.
