I''m a newbie programmer myself and I''m looking for other newbies that want to program (at first) text based sports games and then move them to windows text based games. Looking for someone who is learning C++. Thank you

I don't know all that much C++ myself, but from what I know you'd probably be better off starting with it in Windows. I'm learning Visual C++ right now...it's not really a very hard language - just big and time-consuming

. Or you could use Visual Basic if you want a challenge...*snicker*

Yeah I know it would probably be easier to start in Windows. I''m leaning towards windows more and more instead of DOS since we all know it will be gone in the near future.
