Original Post
It all started with Joseph (aka OceanLegacy here on GD) who started a thread on this very forum, asking for help to create an online game in the search for publicity. Long story short: I, along with many others, answered the call, and then we started looking for the last pieces of the crew. GameDev.net made the process of finding talented and motivated volunteers a breeze, and for that we thank you. We would now like to show you what we've accomplished so far these couple of months we've been working together with the spare time we've had at our disposal. Try the demo (flash needed) and provide us with all kinds of comments. We can take a whole lot of criticism as long as it stays constructive. Do keep in mind, that as of this posting, not all of the graphics have been added yet, and the game does not represent the final project. We hope to have it finished by the end of the year, which is why we'd like to harvest as many comments as possible now that we've got something playable to show for. Some tips about what to comment on:
- Difficulty
- Addictiveness
- Awareness (do you bother to read the notes about the ocean? If not, then maybe you have some ideas about how to catch your attention?)
- Length - of levels and whole game.
- Graphics
- Music
- Controls
- Bugs (Please include your OS, browser type & version, and flashversion.)
- "what the?" - Like when you swim just close to a fishing net, but get caught anyway. These are the kind of annoying incidents in games that we'd like to avoid as much as possible. So if you find any big annoyances, then please tell us about it.
- Whatever else you have to say about the game, and the project and its belonging members in general.
