I would like to know more about all the game development competitions. Which are the websites which may tell me which competition is going on where and everything about that competition?

I don't know of any competitions, per-se, but GDnet is hosting its annual four elements contest, right now. I think gameinstitute.com is hosting a contest as well. I don't know of any others, but users of these forums periodically start contests when there is down-time.
Sites hold them at random, I don't think there's any central repository for game development challenges/competitions - however that would be a nice addition to this site obviously. I'll have to work on that!
In the meantime besides us and GI.com, there's also the GG Game in a Day competitions and Ludum Dare runs some every now and then too.
