Hello all, I am trying to extract the audio data of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. For using this data I need it to be in WAVE PCM format. From what I could understand from it, the data doesn't seem to be in PCM, but in another format (it has a tag of 0xfffe in the WAVEFORMATEX structure). Does anyone now which format is it, and if it is not PCM how can I convert it to PCM? Thanks Allot, alonr

From the Documentation:
Quote:
wFormatTag
Waveform-audio format type. Format tags are registered with Microsoft Corporation for many compression algorithms. A complete list of format tags can be found in the Mmreg.h header file. For one- or two-channel PCM data, this value should be WAVE_FORMAT_PCM. When this structure is included in a WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE structure, this value must be WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE.
Looking in Mmreg.h shows:
#define WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE 0xFFFE /* Microsoft */

So, you have a WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE structure instead.
