I would Like to moled a cool looking Hay Bail any Ideas how I should do this
Hi all, I like to model a hay bail and have a high res model and a low res model.
what way would be a good way to model this (Square Hay bail).

To be quite honest,you can make an image generated normal map, and make a high poly generated normal map, and not be able to tell the difference in this occasion.
So, if i were you i'd simply model a low poly model, and texture it and then generate your normal map from the edited diffuse texture.
