Hi people, Well, I'm making an application where the user can draw lines in my window while a character is walking and falling down. Each time the player press and keep the left mouse button pressed, I store the x,y screen coordinates of each point. So, later I can check for collisions. To test for collision, I do the following: for (int i = Character's Y Position; Character's Y Position + character's height - 40; i++) { //Check each i to see if any line has this point // if yes, change his direction; } For my character walk in ramps, i check if there's a point below (Character's Y Position + character's height - 40). If there's I get this Y point and set my character to this. After some tests, it doesn't work as I want. It collides and slopes, but somentimes I get erros like the character climbing a vertical line. My character movement is too jerk too. Does someone knows a better technique to make something like that? Thanks a lot. Jose Ricardo
