[java] Remodeling a map.

Hey, I have a Runescape private server source and was wondering if it was possible to remodel the world map? Like, instead of having a huuuuge world of different areas, if I could reshape it into one big island or something like that. I'd also like to know how to pack a sprite into this server source. Any help?
