Can u tell me what is the difference between a Graphics Engine and a Graphics rendering program?. Can a graphics engine be called as a rendering program?

a graphics engine most probaly won't have a point of entry for execution, it is a library of classes, functions etc. that provide an interface for the user, a graphics rendering program is a program that could use a graphics engine (optional) and could be classed as any program that displays some visual output.
