Hi guys. I am using the Pyro Particle Editor for my game. I am also using Direct X 9.0c for my graphics api. When I load a particle effect in my game, I want to map it to certain 3d objects. For example, I might like to attach a fire particle effect to a torch. Problem is that Pyro has a weird coorindate system that I haven't been able to figure out. Essentially what I would like to do is treat the particles' verts as local space coords and bring those coords into my world space. Currently Pyro provide api to draw a particle effect given xy,z, coords however those coords are not being properly computed into my world space. Is there a way using the device set transformation method that I could simply render the particle effect at say (0,0,0), treating the pyro particle effect as a 3d mesh and then translate it using my world space matrix? If what I am saying doesn't make sense, let me know. Thanks!
