Using winsock. Im looking for a nice guide or book even on editing TCP/IP Headers. I have gone and bought "Network Programming for Microsoft Windows" but a quick scim and I have found nothing on editing the headers. Any help would be much appreciated. Daniel

Look into raw sockets. That is a real good start for you.

When working on TCP streams or UDP datagrams, you don't manually edit or construct the headers at transport layer or below.

If you have valid reasons to do so, you will have to use raw sockets.
By the book reference you mentioned, I assume you are interested in Winsock. Here is something that should get you started.

What are you trying to do?

If you modify TCP headers, they are no longer TCP.
