Programmer without game project

I'd like to join a game project as a programmer. (Interest leaning towards general programming. Not so much interested in 3D graphics.) I'd prefer a strategy or RPG kind of project. Possibly online oriented but singleplayer games have a higher success rate... Name: Petter Hansson Occupation: Student with goal to obtain MSc. in Computer Science or Electronics. Third year at university. Preferred Languages: C, C++, Java; I quickly adapt to most imperative programming languages. Previous Experience: Used to program small games when I was younger. My biggest project to date you can find at www.sourceforge.net/projects/sengdokuwsj but that's pretty much dead. :( Expected Compensation: The joy/experience of finishing a game. ;) Should anyone wish to hire me that's fine too, but that's not the purpose of this request. Weekly Commitment: Max 20 h as I'm studying and that's still the better part of a weekend. Less during exam weeks). First of all There is a template that must be used when you post in the help wanted forum.

Ok my bad! I guess I need to check my facts. I just always see all these posts in here not following the template and the mods warning the posters and then closing the thread if the template is not followed.

Well we're 3D but on the other hand we're making a single-player RPG with very realistic goals in mind. So, check us out and send me a mail if you'd like to talk more.

I have a variety of ideas that I would like to develop. For my first project I would like to develop a High resolution Isometric MMORPG with A live action combat system. I myself will be the game designer and I am trying to gather a team to begin production.
