It's one thing to be confident, and it's another to put down and insult the development teams you previously worked for.

yes i know and i dont get how that was linked to my post....

I am saying when i joined the first two teams they were the people that were thinking they could make a mmo from scratch...

now i have online friends that work for mythic games and other game companies and know much more =)

I am sorry you did not agree with the way I was running the team and my choice of MMO engine. I try my best to make every one happy but in the end I am responsible for the entire team and as the leader I must do what I feel is best for the well being of the team. That is what leadership is about. I wish things could have been different and that we could have worked together. I wish you the best of luck with your future projects.

squigoth I understand that, but always respect your former teammates at all times.

Do you have any previous work we could see?

Nope. Not really I have done no games worth showing, but I have done many small games and console games... Thats why im not starting my own mmorpg right from the bottom.. I would like a more experienced team that will help me learn... of course i dont need pay

Asking to pay you up front for work you may not be able to do doesn't exactly appeal to most indie companies that are willing to pay. I know for sure it doesn't appeal to commercial companies. Insulting your former teams makes any potential team wonder what you will say about them when you leave them or they terminate you. There is the fact that you have no real experience to show or portfolio to sell yourself as experienced. I hope this might help you reconsider your approach and change your post a little so that you will get more invites. I wish you the best in your search.

i dont get why ppl are ranting that i said i tried two projects and both teams didnt have experience. I am not demanding pay AT ALL and dont even need it... but I realize I dont have examples, which is because I have done no real projects... the only way for you to see how good I am is hire me... And I promise I have lots of cool ideas and could script cool systems... I have learned a lot about different engines and how it works...also I got a proposal to help out a engine which sounds like a great and fun job, its and indie engine thats been underdevelopment for awhile and I will take the job when they reply to my reply to their PM thanks for that message!

You were calling the 2 development teams that you worked with, "noobs."

At this day and age, talk is cheap and if you can back up your claim about scripting and your ideas, then you are giving yourself an advantage.

I apologize if you feel I was ranting about you. I was going of what you typed and was trying to offer you suggestions. I will leave you be. Again, good luck in your search.

Honestly you guys four people have posted about the really small comment I made about their being noob programmers out there. Anyone with real knowledge will know that on the internet there is about 1 pro per 1000 noobs, no joke... please keep this thread to the point...

squigoth- one of my pet peeves is when a person erases his post in an effort to hide or cover up what he or she has stated. Stand by your words- for better or worse.

Having said that- this post seems to has run its course and I'm going to close it now.
