Hello. I've just completed a big application in C++ that it's working on server bla bla bla. But now i would spend some time to an entire optimizations, but i do not want to make them as you go. Can you advice me books, paper or other (i really would like a complete book) completely focused on C++ optimization, also only specific for Microsoft Visual C compiler?

Intel. Optimization Manuals. ;)

I guess you are relatively new to the topic, so I would go for Agner Fog's guides at first. The Intel ones require some basic knowledge on optimization + a bit of knowledge about computer architecture (von Neumann Architecture, e.g.).
