hey im not sure if i am able to ask this correctly but here goes in the last year ive been writing my game engine and now the basic version is pretty much done, except for the fact that my interpolation between states is a stil a bit jerky, but today i read on article explaining that the jerkyness occurs when using eular agnles and rotating by more than one axis and that the solution is to use Quaternions instead. now my question is: if i have 2 Quarternions and a value between 0 and 1 indicationg the time progress from the 1'st Quarternion to the 2'nd Quarternion how do i work out the current Quarternion? do i simply take each one of the four values making up the 2 Quarternions seperatley and work out the inbetween values or is there some other formula i need to use?

You might also want to take a look at this, it discusses 3 methods of quaternion interpolation, focusing mainly on slerp and nlerp. A bit of perspective can never hurt.
