Error Code s1023

I am trying to install Direct X SDK november 08, but it always stops and i get an error message saying "error code s1023". What should I do to get around that?

I'm pretty sure it generates an install log - been a while since I had to dig into it, but check the working directory or just search around for "directx.*" or "*.log" under recently modified files.

Your environment configuration would also be useful. Only WinXP and Vista are supported by the SDK, but other than that I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't install assuming it was a valid/non-corrupt download.
