Looking for Small Project

Original Post
My name is Nathan and I'm a self taught programmer. I can program in c/c++, assembler, vb, c#, vb.net and a few others. I've done mostly text based games and am looking to learn more. I'm looking for a small game project with no compensation, preferably a project that already has some team members. The team must be relaxed and not on any particular time schedule; I have a lot going on outside of this side venture and cannot commit a large portion of time each week... my main reason for getting involved is for fun and learning. To summarize, I'm looking for a relaxed team with no deadlines, who are learning together by creating a small non-profit game. Please PM or Email me if you would like to work together.
I am VFP programmer but I am trying to get into a C++.
If its simple text base game projest with relaxed schedule Id like to join, cause I am really at the beggining of learning C++.

Hi Nathan, great to see how you taught yourself C++ and the other languages you mentioned. You seem like a great person to for our project, which is not small, however; there are certainly many small tasks that need doing. We have at least 4 programmers working each week on the project, along with 4 others who work whenever they are available; but have busy schedules, so don't feel shy to join; you would learn valuable experience from our senior coders.
It is not feasible for us to work on a deadline, and we are in no hurry; we have been developing for 2 years already. We are working on an RPG that runs on our own engine. There are a number of releases planned; the first one is simple with 2D sprites, further versions will be in 3D.
Visit our website above, read the information, look at the past 4 months of posts on our blog; then you will be informed about what we are doing. I invite you to fill in the 'Join Us' form in the website; please mention in your application that you are only available for X hours a week, and that Chris invited you.
Take care.
