Hi, yahtzee's show. What do you think of this show? I think its better than most other shows. I hope it gets funding.

Yahtzee's intense camera stare made me want to fight him.

But besides that it was pretty entertaining. 30 mins is a decent amount of time and they managed to fill it pretty well. I liked the Master Chief and Duke Nukem segments, that got some chuckles out of me - especially Master Chief shoveling chips into his faceplate and then shaking his head in sad defeat.

I think Yahtzee's constant stream of douchebaggedry it a little overbearing on camera, in Zero Punctuation he at least tries to be reasonable, and too much of the show is "we're going to talk about something wait just kidding we were joking", but on the whole it was still entertaining. Hard show to do, they did pretty good for a first shot, I could see it getting a lot better.

yea I should also mention that I don't really watch any of these kinds of shows so - not much for me to compare it to.

Yeah those guys are much better on their podcasts than on that show. I'm a Zero Punctuation fan and I listen when Yahtzee's on the Australian Gamer Podcast.

Examples:
Yahtzee's classic piss analogy.
Yahtzee breaks world record for use of the word "vagina" in one podcast.
Response to GameDamage criticism.

I was expecting this to be better considering Yug and Matt can actually hold their own against Yahtzee instead of being a bunch of annoying tag alongs as they were on game damage..

Their friends in real life, too. In Yahtzee's Uncharted review, Matt was the one that threw the ball. In Yahtzee's infamous Smash review, Yug's house was "My friend, Guy's house".

My biggest critisism is that the conversations between them didn't flow like they should given that the presenters are all mates.

I put this down to them all being on a couch facing the camera. Easy fix, the just need a modular couch so that then can all slightly face each other and the camera is suddenly included in the conversation.

The skits were somewhat funny, but they need to space them out instead of doing one lump sum. If this is for TV, I would expect to see a skit everytime they come back from an ad-break, preferrably with the skit related to what they are about to talk about. That way the audience is immediately engaged and prepared for the upcoming segment.

It took me a few seconds to get that because I didn't realize you were talking about each individual skit and not each skit segment. If they had done that the program would have been way too broken up.

The introduction clip was awesome, but then it was meh.

I guess i'm the only one that likes zero punctuation and this show? I thought it was funny. It's just the right mix of sarcasm and self-deprecation for me.

The little skits were a refreshing change to the computer game show genre, which is typically thirty minutes of disembodied voiceover and game videos.

Having presenters who actually have a passion for games was also a breath of fresh air..given how often these shows are presented by some douchebags who know nothing about games.

I'm quite a fan of Yahtzee already...granted he's incredibly critical, but again it's a welcome change from typical review shows where nobody wants to speak out against the status quo and point out that revered series' aren't anything special, and that most games do suck. I think this show could do the same thing as his webcasts do, but to a wider audience.

I just really want a games tv show that isn't terrible...

I thought it was decent except a lot of it seemed too forced. Like when the left guy (Yahtzee I think) began talking early on, the camera kept zooming in on the middle guy (Yug?) who was giggling. I didn't understand it. If what Yahtzee was saying is funny, you don't need to zoom in on the middle guy laughing at inappropriate times. The skits were interesting, definitely.

Overall it was pretty good but could use more polish.
