Edit:Solution: It was a simple project setting for debugging unmanaged code from the C# app The subject may be a bit confusing, sorry. At some point in my application compilation, the debug information for a static library becomes unavailable (ie I cannot step through it). There are 3 layers to what I'm working on. 1) Lib - Cpp Static Library 2) Wrap - Cpp/CLI DLL 3) App - C# EXE The App references the Wrap DLL. The Wrap links with the Lib, and allows access to the Cpp lib code from the C# app. It runs as expected. When debugging it starts in the C# app. I can step into the Cpp/CLI Wrapper class functions. However, I cannot step into the C++ static library functions. The Question: Is the lib debug information lost when the dll is created? I tried compiling with C7 debug info but that did not help. Thanks! [Edited by - gzboli on January 3, 2009 3:25:07 AM]
