"You must play a Kitty suit" <-- wtf?! :P

I get some refreshing problem when scrolling the webpage under firefox, but that's probably Java's fault and not your own. I also noticed that clicking on the card works only on the left side, if you see the whole card (on top) and click on the right side it don't works.

I apologize, this statement is referring to having to play a card from your hand that is of the same suit as the leading card of the Kitty. Unless you dont have any cards of that suit in which case you can play any card you want.

As for the screen getting refreshed properly, I noticed that too. I didnt use any 3rd party rendering api's, it's just 2d java. I will look into this.

Clicking on the left side of the card, around the left side number was the only way I could figure doing it, except for the last card in your hand, the 13th card. Its the only one that will read clicking on the card anywhere. I could add a check to see if the card your clicking is fully visible. I will add this to the update log.

I really appreciate you looking at the game and giving me some input. Thank you very much!

Just updated the Hearts game to version 1.1.0. Fixed a few bugs, changed some elements of the GUI, added a few buttons and sounds, cleaned up the code, insured the game ends when a player scores 100 and show a game over screen along with music.

Please goto Mighty Realms Java online games to check it out!

Please, please post here if you find any problems or if you would like to comment about the game.

The game is created with just the standard Java AWT, no third party Rendering so Images may load slowly at first, but once your cache has loaded them, the game plays alot smoother.

Hi,

I just played a couple of hands and the sounds were really annoying, obviously this isn't a massive problem as I just turned the sound down on my laptop but a button to halt the sounds would be a good addition.

Everything seemed to work fine and it was a good play! Great effort! Only problem was the aforementioned card selection problem whereby you have to click the left side of the card.

I apologize for not responding sooner.

Thank you for the feedback. I can add an option button that would allow users to toggle sounds on or off. I will def look into that. As for the clicking the left side of the card, I think I'll add a message to the screen telling users to make sure they click the actual Number on the card. That may help out with the targeting a bit.

I really appreciate the feedback and if you see anything else please feel free to post about it here.

Thank you.
