Team name: Eclipse (Not a registered company, we just call our group that) Project name: Kaos Insurrectum Brief description: What is Kaos Insurrectum? Kaos Insurrectum is the name of a video game prototype that began development in the Art Institute of Toronto back in 2007. The project was developed by a team of four classmates (a fifth classmate who originally came up with the idea dropped out of development in the early stages), whom at the time was still learning many softwares and processes in game development. Though all four classmates graduated, they regret that they were unable to complete the keystone project to add to their portfolios. There simply was not enough time allotted to successfully complete the prototype along with all other courses in the short nine month curriculum. After the graduation of the Game Art and Design class in the Summer of 2007, the team developing Kaos Insurrectum (known as Eclipse), ceased production of the prototype and took a well deserved break. Kaos Insurrectum's Resurrection February 2009, almost two years since any production on what most thought was a dead prototype, kaosinsurrectum.com resurfaced online, to announce the reuninon of Eclipse and the resurrection of Kaos Insurrectum! Being inspired by the idea of improving their portfolios as well as randomly playing the incomplete prototype from time to time, always wondering what the amazing project would end up looking like if complete was the trigger in bringing back Kaos Insurrectum. High Concept: A young warrior joins a rebellion against the Nephilim, an ancient race which enslaved his homeworld two centuries ago. Type: Third Person, Action/Adventure, some RPG elements.
