Does anybody know how to view the source code for a gwbasic project? I agreed to take a look at the possibility of rewriting a old gwbasic program in a more modern language, but unfortunately I've never used GWBasic. The program is a simple(?) economics simulator/game. I've been able to get it to run by dropping the GWBasic executable into the same folder as the program files, and typing [run "bd"]. I tried typing [load "bd"] to load the project, but GWBasic just wrote "OK" on the next line, and didn't do anything else. I couldn't find anything useful on google, but maybe I'm missing something obvious here.. cheers! (P.S. I have permission from the copyright owner to "update the program to Windows", but unfortunately no one involved with the program is a coder, and I am having trouble getting across the idea that I need source code) [EDIT] I figured it out. Load "program" //loads the program, however nothing is displayed List //prints out each line of code onto the console I guess I'm too used to Visual Studio :)

Reading this post just made me feel so incredibly old I can't even begin to describe how depressing it is [crying].

GWBasic came out came out in 83, two years before I was born, so I guess I feel really young. More than anything though, it really makes me appreciate modern development enviroments like Visual Studio.
