Project name: Grand-Heist Brief description: Grand Games has been developing Grand-Heist for about 4 months now. So far, we been making concept art and planning both the single player and multiplayer aspects out. Target aim: Retail Compensation: You will be receiving a percentage of the profits to be determined later. Technology: We are developing for the PC currently. We may or may not eventually develop for the 360 depending on how well the PC version sells. The game engine we are using is Torque Game Engine Advanced 1.8.1. We are programming in c++/TorqueScript. The 3d modeler and animator is using 3ds max 9. Talent needed: C++ Programmer - Will be held responsible for programming specific features into the game. (Experience with Torque Game Engine Advanced is a plus.) We will need to see previous work if you are applying for SFX Artist. Team structure: Mike Briganti (4 months) - Project Leader, Programmer, Level Designer (This is me) Liam (1 month) - Web Designer Vijesh.V (1 month) - Lead Programmer Relentless Studios (6 Members) (2 weeks) - 3D modelers, animators, etc. Toby Mincey (2 months) - Lead Graphic Designer Website: Click here to go to our website! The website doesn't have a domain yet. It is still a work in progress. The forums are being worked on now. It says "A HL2 Modification" at the top banner, because we were going to use the Source engine, but switched to the Torque Game Engine. Contacts: My Personal Email - michaelrbriganti@gmail.com (Preferred Email) Company's Temporary Email - grandgaming@hotmail.com Website - HERE Previous Work by Team: Mike Briganti (Me) - I have worked on several HL2 mods before. Only one of them has a site and it is still a WIP, as it is being made now. You can view it here. Liam - He makes websites. You can click on our site for one. You can also go Here. M. Shay - He is a great 3d modeler and animator. View his work by going Here. Additional Info: As you can see, we are a very talented and small team. We are looking for people who have talent to help us with this project. Now, lets talk about the game. The game is called Grand-Heist. It is a cartoon-styled FPS with both a single player game and a multiplayer game mode. The game has original multiplayer game modes with built in clan support featuring clan matches and custom emblems for your clan. There will be different classes that you can play with in-game. A few classes are the Technician, Kamikaze, Demolition Expert, and Captain. Each class is unique and has advantages/disadvantages. The technician has the ability to build robots and machines which fight for you and your allies. The Kamikaze is a fast yet vulnerable class which is meant for short range attacks. The Kamikaze charges at enemies with a sword and pistol. The Demolition Expert has the ability to set explosives on the ground and walls, and has the ability to blow through walls to give your team an advantage. The Captain is a team "Buff" class which carries the team flag that increase your allies health, speed, and damage to everyone in the area. You may still apply for SFX Artist and GUI Artist.
Hmm your website says that it's a Half-Life 2 modification. Is this information outdated or did you switch to the HL2 engine and Torque is not used anymore?

That information is outdated. I am asking the webmaster to fix that stuff, because we are switching from the HL2 engine to Torque.
We are no longer in need of a GUI Artist. Now, we are just looking for a SFX Artist.
We no longer need an SFX artist.

The post has been modified once again. We are still looking for 3d modelers/animators, but we are in great need of a few programmers with experience using Torque Game Engine Advanced, or those who are willing to learn how to use it.
We only need C++ Programmers now. Nobody else. We are sorry, but we are full. If you can program for us, send me an email.
Very little positions left. Please send me an email to my personal address at michaelrbriganti@gmail.com to get on the team quickly.
