I remember seeing it being done somewhere with some preprocessor directives. Basically instead of having to specify xxxxxx.lib in the linker properties window in visual studio I want to just say something like __libimport(xxxxxx.lib) in my code. How can I do it?

In Visual Studio it's just

#pragma comment(lib, "library.lib")
