Hi, Does anyone know that FMOD get spectrum funciton works correctly? I'm having this problem where I take the first 1024 samples of the spectrum data from a sound file and when I match this with the audacity software spectrum it looks completely different? Has anyone used and had problems with this functionality? Thanks

Does FMOD average the spectral data or just present the data of each individual sample--or just the last sample?

well with audacity gets all of the spectrum samples and sum it up whilst FMOD get the spectrum data while the audio is being played and you have to decided what the hop for window sampling. I think. I'm not entirely sure.

But you can select an amount of samples data like 1024 sample rate and look at the spectrum of that.

But the spectrum from audacity is correct because the sound sample im using for my example is an example off from a book and has the same spectrum image.
