Developing a multiplayer game

Hey guys, i'm new member and looking for help! I need to develop a game based on flash. I have skills on flash, this is not the problema right, my problem is that i don't know how to develop a multipayer game. I was reading some papers about it, and they talks about servers( flash server, smartfoxserver, etc) but all the info is so dispersed. I need to learn how to begin to develop a multiplayer game since 0... Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot!

You can check this forums FAQ, it is really helpful , i just started the tutorials onn this site but i believe at the end of the tutorial they teach you haow to make a multiplayer game.
