Hi guys i'm looking for a portable networking library, for games of course. The more simple it is the better. I'm looking for any and all recomendations. JamesCobras

Well this depends on what u need. Do u want a UDP lib or TCP and do u want a complete framework or just send and receive.

The last can be really easily achieved with enet.
In case u want something more i would use RakNet.

Both libs use the udp protokoll which is probably best for fast pased games.

It also depends on the language used.

My favorite C++ portable networking library is ASIO. Here's the website:

http://think-async.com/

It's a relatively low-level library, but beautifully wraps everything up in easy-to-use C++ goodness.

Sorry, c++ and a combination of TCP and UDP, although i'm planning on using mainly UDP, with TCP for chat and login stuff!

Any advice?

Unfornutately Zoidcom has no free commercial license, but it does have loads of tutorials. But RakNet, is better.
