Hey i''m back in the town library again, just wanting to mention my reintroduction to consoles that occured last week. After spending days slowly rotting away in my house due to GameDev (and other net stuff) deprivation I decided to better spend my days actually playing some games rather than coding.
Well as it was my 18th everyone sent me money, woah, and I thought I might as well blow it all on something game related. A deep nagging in my soul told me that no, I really wanted a dreamcast and indeed not a GBA, and wise as I have developed in my isolation I did just that.
Best £115 I have ever spent, Chu Chu Rocket and Power Stone 2 are two of the best games i''ve ever played... and before anyone gives me the ''its a dead console'' speech - your average gamer like myself only ever has around 20 games maximum in their collection... and i see more than that i''d like to grab.
And the games are mostly £15 and £30 for brand new stuff like Sonic Adventure 2 NARF! This is like a gold rush or something...
I had a load of people round for my 18th and bouts of chu chu rocket followed, and beleive me once everyone got the hang of it we couldn''t stop playing @_@
Ok now for the scariest part, I hadn''t touched my PC for like a week and due to excessive TV exposure when i booted it up I noticed how weird it is to look a monitor >_< thats the firsdt time in my life it felt weird to use my PC ack!
