At long last... after 6 months

Hello GameDev community! It has been quite an exciting week for my brother and myself. After 6 months of grueling work and testing, we finally launched our first iPhone application! Here is a video of the game - let us know what you think!
More information on the game can be found at itunes link: www.itunes.com/apps/gushers or on our website www.razorleafstudios.com We are frequent browsers of this site and wanted to share some of our experiences developing for the iPhone/iPod touch. First off, while the device itself works exceedingly well (the touch interface is extremely precise, allowing for even very small in-game objects and the like to be selected, tossed around, etc with ease!), programming for the device is certainly a pain! I'm sure most of you are familiar with the numerous restrictions and the chokehold that Apple has on it developers, but I feel this should be reiterated in case anyone else is curious about the iPhone platform. I'm certainly not saying not to develop on the iPhone, but it would be really interesting to see how creating applications for other mobile platforms would be (especially Android with the additions of the Driod and Nexus One!) Anyone care to share experiences? Should we stick with the iPhone for future projects or try something else? We are two college students with a passion and dream of creating games and hope this will be a good start for us. Any advice or feedback, either about mobile platforms or our first game, would be much appreciated! We would like to thank YOU GUYS, the GameDev community, for providing tips throughout the project; it's our first game and, before we started, we knew very little about programming. We hope you enjoy the game! Razorleaf Studios [Edited by - Razorleaf on January 6, 2010 5:32:16 PM]

Well I gave my iPod Touch to my girlfriend a few days ago, so I can't try it, but I wanted to say congrats. :) I hope I can get my Android game to the same level of graphical detail that it appears your game as achieved.
Congratulations! I'll check it out when I get home from work.
Grats, buying game now. Supporting fellow developers FTW, only $0.99. =)
I was influenced by the Ghetto you ruined.
Reminds me of hacking on Bioshock, always enjoyed that. =)

Thank you very much for the immediate support! Because Gushers is our first game and we have limited resources, it is very hard for us to gain exposure in the market. Your support really motivates us to work sleepless nights to make the game better and better. We have TONS of ideas for future updates and therefore hope the game will catch on.

We are very open to feedback and would love to personally answer your comments, questions, or suggestions.

Also, if anyone has any questions about iPhone app development, feel free to message me or post here - we'll be happy to answer them!
Good news for all! We submitted a lite version of Gushers to the app store and it is currently in review. It should be up shortly, so have fun and test away for free!
Way to go guys!
