Alright, so I'm trying to setup a connection to an empty database and populate it with text from the program... whenever I try the .Update() it fails to actually save anything to the database itself outside the program (which also causes issues when trying to .Fill() in a grid). I've set the whole thing up using the connection wizard and I've set the compiler for x86, so that's not the issue either. The SentNum variable should increase with every sentence addition (starting at 0) and the WordNum variable basically states the position of the word in said sentence. This all displays properly and correctly in the txt_thoughts textbox and restates the entire sentence in the txt_response textbox just for verification purposes after all is said and done. The issues lays with the "Update" command itself, which fails every time. I've even tried setting this all up without any use of the connection wizard... straight New OleDbConnection work and so forth. I have been struggling with this for months, have searched every tutorial for a little help and am at my wits end. So, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
