all i want to do is be able to embed video into the mag. The way the magazine works is this, there's two components, the magazine interface (what holds each page, makes them flippable, ect) and then there is each page. The main magazine calls each page separately, their not in the same file. Their called via XML . The pages can be images or .swf files. meaning there could be flash with in flash. which is what i tried. I successfully embedded a video into the single page, but one i add it to the xml file and the main magazine interface calls for that page, the video doesn't show up. Im sure is something simple, and i believe is even explained in the magazine components instructions. But i just dont understand flash like that... but my goal is to embed videos. and Honestly i wouldnt even mind if it even had to be some sort of lightbox (www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/) holding the video through javascript, so maybe there can be some sort of link on the flash page, that triggers a javascript on the html page holding the magazine or something along those lines. If you dont understand anything of what i meant let me know.
