Hello everyone, I am going to be demonstrating a WPF application publicly and I was wondering how I would be go about locking out the computer so that only the application is present and cannot be terminated. Things like alt+tab, ctrl+alt+del need to be disabled and the program should have focus at all times. A quick search of google didn't turn up much so I'm hoping that someone here will have the answer for me :) The demonstration will be on a personal computer of mine and I won't be able to watch what everyone will be doing to it so any tips or code samples that you could provide would be great! P.S. If you're not quite sure what I'm talking about and have been to a Best Buy, I'm looking to do something similar to what they install on their laptops. Thanks!

Take a look at this blog post. The idea is to disable the task manager and install a low-level keyboard hook to capture those keys. I haven't tested the code, so I don't know how well it works.

Personally, I would simply disconnect the keyboard. Problem solved!

Get a screw driver to pop off the alt keys, windows keys, and the escape key.

This article (and many others) explain how to change the windows shell. If you change the shell to your program and rename the taskmanager to something else and you should have the desired behavior.

Make sure to add a feature to your program to get rid of it again, or at least preserve some sort of remote access, otherwise you'll lock yourself out! :)
