To the people who are running MS Windows 2000 professional, Windows 2000 server,etc.., or anything made by microsoft that can run as a webserver(IIS) Your computer may be at risk to this virus which expose information such as passwords and files to be copy or deleted by hackers. Also its spread pretty fast please read the following if your not sure what Code Red is all about. It only infects those who use IIS. I run Windows 2000 Pro with Apache and am not affected. I just see many people who are listed in my logs.

We''ve covered this already in earlier threads. If you run IIS, get the patch from MS and clean your system. Or get rid of IIS and switch to Apache.
