I downloaded Visual Studio 2010 Professional last night onto my PC, and when I try to run the iso file, it says I need to burn it to a CD. Is there a way to get around this and just install it on my computer.
If I asked you for a hundred dollars would the answer to that question be the same as the answer to this question?
Try downloading 7-Zip, it has an iso reader built in. Typically, you can "unzip" the iso into a directory and install it

If you're running XP, there's also this small tool that lets you mount an ISO as a drive. Sadly, it doesn't work on Vista or above, and Microsoft haven't updated it.

7-Zip usually does the trick, though, as long as the disk image doesn't use too advanced a file system. WinImage is more advanced, but is shareware, not freeware.

You could always Download and install Daemon Tools. It's a great tool for dealing with ISO files. Just install and mount your iso file.
7-Zip did the trick, but now it says I need to un-install Visual C++ 2010 Beta 2 before I can Install this, but I can't find where to un-install it at. Any help please?

Virtual Clonedrive is also very good for this purpose.

Note that the Visual Studio 2010 installer reboots the system if you haven't installed .net framework 4.0 in advance. After the reboot, the installer tries to resume copying the rest of the stuff. If you are installing from a virtual drive and the installer complains that the source drive cannot be found, just re-mount the image and instruct the app to try again. This is not a fatal error.

Control panel->Programs and Features on Vista, 7, Server 2008 (R2), Control panel->Add or Remove Programs on XP and Server 2003 (R2).
