Hello all,
My name is Nick Weihs and I am hobbyist game programmer. I have been programming for 5 years now, mainly in C, but I also know various other languanges (C++ of course, JAVA, VB if you consider it a language, etc.) I have worked on several small-scale projects (independant multiplayer games) which were very successful from an independant perspective, and I would like to become part of a larger team (i.e. more than three people =P). I have good working knowledge of the following:
DirectX/Direct3D
SDL/OpenGL
WinSock and Unix server/client programming
Windows API (threads, GDI, common controls, all that good stuff)
MySQL/mSQL database programming in C
Many more lesser things...
I am a first year student at USF, though I have enough credit to be a sophmore, and I have a passion for programming games. I am looking for any project which has a stable base, doesn''t matter if I get paid or not.
Thanks,
NickW
