Hi there. Some months ago I developed this game in flash, using Actionscript 3.0, here

http://www.kongregate.com/games/Attila0413/lets-type

I would like to port it in Java, for using it on cellphones and similiar things. I studied Java last year, but I've never done a graphic app. Could you give me some advice, for example graphic libraries and tutorial on how to port a game on cellphones? Thank you, i'm really new at Java games dev :)

First I would recommend getting familiar with Java: http://developer.android.com/index.html. If you never plan to do desktop apps you can skip the part about "Creating Graphical User Interfaces"

Then learn Android: http://developer.android.com/index.html

Android is Google's answer to the iPhone. It has a pretty large market share and has a market similar to Apple's App Store, without the restrictions.

You might have a look at:

http://www.rokonandroid.com/

I have no experience with it, just heard about it.

The new release of jMonkeyEngine3( http://www.jmonkeyengine.com ) will also be able to deploy to android. But it is in early alpha state and there won't be much support at the moment (but I guess a 3d-engine won't be the right choice for your typing-application) If you find other possible engine, I'm interested in that topic as well...

Good luck

i would have a look at the "swing" components
there basically the GUI components of java

and have a look at http://netbeans.org/
its a java IDE and one of its features is the ability to create mobile specific applications, i dont know how easy it would be to make thou and im guessing you will want to make it with touchscreen which i have no idea about
however if you have any questions please ask ;)
