I''m using the DelphiGraphics DX8 headers and for example: var x : IDirectVertexBuffer8; works fine, but x : array[0..9] of IDirectVertexBuffer8; compiles - but doesn''t work. In VC this is handled by having LPDirectVertexBuffer8 and PDirectVertexBuffer8, two pointer types. I didn''t find equivalent pointer types in the Delphi headers (though I didn''t look too long) - anybody can help me out? I definately need the ability to have arrayed textures and vertexbuffers. ThankS Henri

I''ve had the same problem too, except that mine crashes in full-screen mode. At least you know you''re not alone, eh?

In my little DX8 test at home, I was placing the interface inside a record (along with some other variables) and dynamically allocating the record. This seemed to work fine for me. I have not tried it using a static array of interfaces. Seems strange that the array would not work though.

Thanks for the response - I''ll try dynamically allocated interfaces, the VC sources I''ve seen do that... I figured the static version should work. Mebbe itZ just my PC. *GrinZ* we''ll see...
