My name: Petr Hudecek
Project name: Sacculus: The Wargame

Brief description:
Sacculus: The Wargame is a turn-based strategy game where player battles against the artificial intelligence enemy. In every level, the player must explore to reveal the fog of war, destroy any enemies he or she may encounter (and who usually have the advantage in numbers or perhaps higher strength) and fulfill the objective in the level. That may be to survive enough turns, arrive at a destination with a unit, explore the territory or solve riddles.

The game is organized in a campaign of 9 levels and a tutorial. The levels present increasing difficulty and every one of the them attempts to reveal more of the game. The game is tied strongly to its story. For those with an even greater interest in the story, an Encyclopedia with thousands of words is prepared for them to study.

The coding is completed now. I only have to fix some glitches in the save/load system and some other stuff. I now miss only two things: Cut scenes, and music.

Target aim:
Definitely freeware.

Compensation:
There will be no compensation.
Of course, your name will be in the credits, you can add this to your portfolio, the game will be published on some game review servers and I will give you a big thank you.

Technology:
I use C#/.NET/XNA and develop for Windows.
From the artist, I need 1024x768 pictures in any format. It may be scanned paper.
From the composer, I need any readable format (MP3/WAV/OGG).

Talent needed:
Artist
The user interface, tiles and unit images are already done. Now I need images for the cutscenes. The artist's job is to create these. I believe I will need about twelve of them.

A cutscene consists of several fullscreen (that is, 1024x768 wide) images that show a scene of the story. Over that image, there will be subtitles and voiceover describing the story. I'll give some examples of what images I might want:
- Planning
An old wizard, with a grown fullbeard, and the queen of the land, standing over a table with map of the land before them, studying it and discussing their next options
- The lone mountain
A lone mountain. Its peak is over the level of clouds and several spheres of three different colors revolve around this peak. It is not important what the weather is.
- Destruction
The bulk of the enemy army has just been incinerated by a bomb from above. The scene should depict several monsters/soldiers dying and some fires, perhaps dust in the air.

The game is set in medieval fantasy with several scifi elements.

Music
I need music for the game and that music should have a medieval/fantasy feel. It should not be very fast as it is a turn-based game, not an action or real-time game. It would be best if it had a memorable theme but that is not a condition.

I will need at least 2 music loops.
Team structure:
Me - I lead the project and I do the programming
Kevin Higgins has done the art, tiles and units

Previous Work by Team:
I have done two games.

Seven Crystals of Power that scored 2nd in the Four Elements VI contest
God, who is hated that scored 18th in the Four Elements V contest

Hi,

my name is Gianmarco Leone and I'm a composer. I've already worked on Battle for Wesnoth (which you may know) for the music, so I'd love to join your game.
In fact, I can already offer a music that could fit your game very well: http://www.kongregate.com/collabs/sounds/gmlion/following-the-master?sort=by_rating
I'm also sending mail
