Original Post
Name: Matthew Bell
Expected Compensation: None... joy?
Contact Information: PM here for first contact, I'll give you my email then.
Previous Projects:
Escape (put on the back burner for now)
Transient shift
Age: 22
Language of choice: C++
As you can see, I'm decently young. I've worked on projects before, always in C++ and I intend to keep doing so. That being said, if there is a very interesting project under java or python or C#, I wouldn't mind brushing up on those languages.
I can generally hold my own. What I'm looking for is a project to work on for the next three months. I'll be working at least 4 hours every weekday on this. After these three months I'll be going to school at AI, so my hours will drop a lot if not completely.
I do plan on seeing this project through. It's just I may need to take breaks for school.
I expect a few things from any project:
1) Motivated leader
2) Knowledgeable head programmer
3) Constant communication
By the third thing I mean I want us to have some kind of chat program to reach each other. I'd love it to be IRC. This is just to stay in contact with each other.
My perfect project is not an MMO, has an IRC channel that's never empty and has a leader with direction and enthusiasm.
Thank you.
Note: After receiving the PM I will want to talk to both the leader and the head programmer.
